I stopped by this place earlier today and found it to be a charming family-owned restaurant. It was clean, with friendly service. We had the Vietnamese noodle soup aka pho, and Thai iced tea. Both were refreshing and flavorful. We enjoyed our lunch and it’s great to see a Vietnamese restaurant in a small town like Bath! Check them out if you're in the area.
Delicious!!! I came in on a rainy cold day - jasmine tea warmed me up, I had the dumplings, pad thai w/ chicken and shrimp, and Thai fried rice w/ chicken - I added chopped peanuts for that textural dimension - absolutely delicious. Literally one of the best fried rices I’ve ever had. So good I got an additional order to go to take home for breakfast the next morning. I have to come back and work my way through their menu! You must try this restaurant :)
Edit- This place is still great! Has become one of my favorites! The Thai chicken salad with chicken is so good for a light lunch! Check them out if you haven't already! This place is great! Vietnamese food is not common in Maine and something I have missed since moving back from Boston... This place never disappoints! Great banh mi's and vermicelli plates and the service is always top notch. Would highly recommend you give them a try!
We love this place !!! This is one the BEST restaurants mid coast. My boyfriend and I always come here for a special meal together, driving hours out of our way. The food is incredibly fresh, good quality, and the service is just wonderful. They are always so kind. We always get the Tai Pho, which is the traditional Vietnamese beef noodle soup made with bone broth, rare steak, bean sprouts, basil, and rice noodles. If you haven’t had pho yet, you’re missing out on one of the most healing and magical foods on the planet. It is light, aromatic, fresh, savory, and complex. Great for a cold day, it will actually heal your soul. We also get the banh mi and dumplings to share, and it’s truly such good comfort food. The prices you can’t beat— honestly everything mid coast can be so expensive, but this place is not, and the incredible quality and flavor you receive is just always so worth it. Thank you, Red Envelope, for always being so wonderful.
My favorite place to eat whenever I visit Bath. I usually come here 2-4 times in the week I'm here; the pho is so full of flavor, and their salad and summer rolls are so refreshing and delicious. Make it a priority to come here, the ladies in the kitchen are very kind and make amazing food!
I can not express how happy we are to have found Red Envelope! The service was attentive and friendly. The chef/ owner? Checked in on us before and after the meal, and was so kind. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The food is out of this world! I had pad Thai. Beautiful, fresh, and so different from the cloying heavy peanut butter based tastes I have found elsewhere. The Thom Kha Kai was the best I've ever had. So rich and flavorful, but bright with herbal zest. The egg rolls were crispy and delicious. We will most definitely return. Parking to get there is a little difficult, but trust me it is more than well worth it. You'll be so glad you went!
The Red Envelope was great! The food was super tasty and fresh. The server was helpful and friendly and the food was prepared very quickly. The servings were very generous and the price was right. I will definitely return to the Red Envelope!

Thank you for having great prices too! I am moving up from Massachusetts. The atmosphere was great. It was intimate but lively, Service was great. The woman at the cash register was so friendly! My salad, spring rolls, vegetables, and rice were delicious! My photo doesn’t do it justice. I was eating in the car later that evening driving but it was very good! I just saw they even called as we were running late. I wanted to try to see North Bath and just walk my dog briefly before getting the food and we had ordered it like in 15 minutes and just making sure it was ready and I was okay! Thank you!! Excited to be your neighbor!!!
